Coco Chanel needs no introduction. A design and business visionary, her beauty and fashion innovations have influenced women’s lives forever.

Mademoiselle Chanel’s fashion dynasty began in Paris, 1908. A century later and now led by Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel remains a leader in global fashion. Style is the essence of the Chanel brand which has stood the test of time, just as Coco predicted “Fashion passes; style remains.”

It was Coco Chanel’s casual, yet elegant style that is still admired by women from all over the world today. Beginning with her little black dress and red lipstick, to the masculine simplicity of her designs, Coco’s timeless style was elegant, and audacious for her time.

But her ultimate signature was her divine pearls. “A woman needs ropes and ropes of pearls” Coco said, who was rarely seen without numerous strings of pearls draped around her neck.

Pearls were an extension of Coco’s personality. She loved their understatement and subtle glamour. One of her favorite looks was several strands of various length pearls over a black, crew neck knit.

Pearls, like Coco’s style don’t follow fashion, but remain timeless. With quiet grace and seductive allure, pearls help a woman convey who she is, or who she wants to be.
